Winter retreat
There is no better way to start the year than with friends on a great darbuka retreat deep in the northern woods of Balaton lake. The retreat is isolated from the outside world, located deep in the nature (not even a mobile phone signal is available). This provides needed piece for a great dive in the world of rhythm.

Our great teacher Merse Varga prepared an interesting theme for this long-awaited 4 days. We had improvisation techniques in Misirli Ahmet’s style of playing.
Perfect way to end the event
We attend to the workshop and concert of one of best percussionist our time Zohar Fresco. It was tremendous experience to be present in his workshop. Beside percussionist tricks he share with as stories from his life. After concert we had opportunity to talk with him.
